Proximity is a miniature UHF-based logger designed to quantify social interactions between individuals.

The Proximity sensor is based on remote UHF pinging between two or more devices. Users can select different signal power levels to tune the maximum reception distance. Proximity logging can be configured from every 1 second up to once per hour. Data can be retrieved via cable or through a Base Station workflow, and the sensor can be integrated into compatible platforms.

Axy 5 S is the evolution of the Axy 4 platform and integrates a magnetometer plus fully scheduled recordings, allowing researchers to maximize battery life by recording only when needed. It records tri-axial acceleration for fine-scale behavioural classification and energy-expenditure studies. A built-in temperature sensor is included, while a high-accuracy pressure/temperature sensor (TDR) can be integrated for diving or flying species. Available with a pressure sensor (for flying and marine animals).
